Today we went to Brinton Carpet Factory in Birmingham. I don't have any pictures to show because we weren't allowed to take any inside the factory. But, I did learn how carpets are made and the whole design process that is behind it. This factory has made carpets for places all over the world and a lot of the carpets in the casinos in Las Vegas are made at Brinton. The only bad part of the day was to get to Birmingham from London we have a two hour train ride and a 45 minute bus ride. (and remember no one believes in air conditioning over here!) One of the girls from Utah State is doing her internship at Brinton, so the workers treated us really good and made us lunch and everything. One of the lunch items was raw salmon rolled up with cream cheese. I got brave and tried it...big mistake! My appetite was completely ruined!

After we got back to London, me and some of my roommates went to Picadilly Circus and ate dinner. It was the best food I have ate since I have been here! It is the only full meal I have had too! It definitely made up for the raw salmon lunch!
