After the King had thrown Nicholas Fouqet in jail, he took all of his designers and builders and had them build Versaille. It is so incredibly massive! Here are the some pictures from our day at Versaille Versaille has hundreds of fountains all over the grounds. These are only a few of them.

Even though every palace we have been to has been decorated so ornately, it still amazes me every time I walk into a room how much detail and extravagance every room has! So much gold and rich red and blue and green colors that just scream royalty!
