Today was quite an interesting one! We got up early and planned on going to the temple and then going on down to Brighton and spending the day at the beach. Well, the temple is pretty much out in the middle of nowhere! We took a train to a place called Godstone which is what we were told was the closest train stop. But when we stepped off the train, we were standing on an old wooden and broken down platform, and not a building or person in sight! We just started walking and found a little old post office and started asking people where to catch a bus or something to the temple. No one really knew...we asked people at the gas station and finally ended up calling a taxi. So after all we did make it to the temple, but it was just a big process getting there and took a lot longer than we expected. Of course it was all worth it!

This is us when we got off of the train in Godstone...and there wasn't anything but trees!

So after the whole adventure of getting to the temple...as soon as we got out it was pouring rain! We tried calling another taxi but no one was available for a while. So we waited at the temple apartments until a taxi could come pick us up. We finally made it back to a train and made the rest of our journey down to Brighton relatively easy. When we got there we took a tour of the Brighton Pavillion which was really amazing. The Brighton Pavillion is where King George IV lived.
