Here I am at the Louvre!

Today we went to the Louvre! This is underground inside the Louvre! This is the ever so famous Mona Lisa that you are no longer allowed to take pictures of. And if you are wondering...yes I got yelled at for taking this picture! This is looking up inside of the main pyramid of the Louvre. After the Louvre we went to the Notre Dame Cathedral. The architecture and details everywhere were amazing!
This is the back of Notre Dame. Here you can see the technique that used to be used in architecture called flying buttresses. They help support the weight of the building so you can have higher ceilings than normal. Flying buttresses are no longer needed nor used now days.
