These were a bunch of town houses that were built in a giant U shape! It was really neat, but you can't really tell by this picture.
This is part of our group in the middle of giant trees!

So I figured the furniture piece I should find to suite her personality should be uncomfortable, cold looking, and not fancy at all. This is the piece of furniture that I found.
I changed it to be the color black because she was wearing all black. I also changed the seat color to be similar to her hair color. I named the furniture Dark Isolation because her appearance was very dark and she seemed isolated from the world. The text also fits her character because it is simple and gives a mysterious vibe.

After the Roman Baths we went to a costume museum. They had all the styles of clothes throughout the centuries. They had a place where you could try on corsettes. I struggled with mine, and it pretty much just makes me look fatter than skinnier!

We ate lunch at Culzean Castle. It was a really good meal and a really good setting!

Here we are sitting on top of a canon inside Edinburgh Castle!
This is looking out over the city of Edinburgh on top of the Castle! It was such an amazing view!
Inside the Edinburgh Castle, there was a war memorial building built to honor all of the Scottish who died trying to gain independence for their country. They had books with the names of all the men who died for the cause. I found two Bulloch names! This isn't the best picture of the names because cameras weren't allowed so we were trying to be sneaky!
This is the Scottish Crown Jewels. Cameras weren't allowed once again...but we are pros at being sneaky now!
This is called the Scot Monument. It is also in Edinburgh.

These are mini sea horses! They were in the basement of one of the green houses.

Today we went to Hampton Court. It was one of King Henry VIII palaces. He had over 80 different palaces and this one was his fourth favorite. In the kitchen they had a bunch of fake meat, but it was pretty gross because they made the whole kitchen smell like raw meat too. I don't know how they made it smell like it....but it definitly did!

Today we went to the Design Center. I absolutely loved it! It was full of modern furniture, fabrics, lighting fixtures, and so much more! This is one of the displays that was in a showroom. I thought it was the best way to show paint I have ever seen. You can actually see what it looks like on a wall as well as what it will look like in various shades of shadow. It was genius!
I loved this bedroom set! You can't really tell it in the picture, but the bed frame is dark brown leather! I love leather furniture!
This is also a really great chair. I like it because it was different and fun and a vibrant red... not a usual piece of furniture you would see.

This was the spiral stair case in the design center. I love the glass railings! They are my favorite and if I ever get rich and can build my own house I am going to put glass railing up the stair case.

This is me towards the end of the day. We were in a really cool store called Habitat but I was just too tired to care anymore. I found this chair and the line of furniture it was apart of was called Utah. So I figured I had better crash in it for a minute...just for names sake! :)
This was the giant puzzle that inspired me!

I also went to the British Library. These are some of the things I saw there.
This picture is of a letter from Sir Thomas Moore telling King Henry VII that he will not support him anymore. He was beheaded because of this.

This is William Tyndale's translation of the Bible into English. It had never been put into English before this and he was executed because of it.

At Hampton Court Conference in 1604 King James I approved a proposal that one uniform translation of the bible should be prepared by the best learned in both Universities in order to remedy the imperfections of current English versions. They preserved much of the wording of Tyndale to produce a book which in the historian Macauley's words, "if everything else in our language should perish, would alone suffice to show the whole extent of it's beauty and power." So this is the first ever King James Bible.

I also have pictures of the Gutenberg Bible which was the first bible to ever go to a printing press and have copies made of it. 180 copies were printed of it. But my blogger is being dumb right now and I can't get the picture of it to pop up!
